Second day out tromping the shows in Roundtop Texas Antique Week.

Good finds today at LaBahia, Old Depot and Coles.  Cooler, rainier weather was a blessing because I also had to go back to the junk fields at Warrenton to pick up some smaller items.  Overall a good shop.  Lunch at Las Fuentes in LaGrange was a nice break and the kolaches at Weikels always in good taste.

Antique Week at Roundtop is finally here!

We loaded up the motorhome and headed to South 40 campground near Giddings...just a few miles from all the Roundtop action.  Spent yesterday tromping the fields of Warrenton from Zapp Hall down to wonderfully air-conditioned Coles.  Only found a few treasures.  Stopped in at the Coffee Bug for a refreshing iced tea.  Temperatures reached the high 80's.  Cleaned up and stopped in at Leftovers to meet Rachel Ashwell and get her new book autographed.  Wonderful music, wine and great furniture.

ANTIQUE GALLERY BOOT SHOW DURING SXSW FESTIVAL

Lunch at EZ Burgers and then on to the boot show.  My sister-in-law found her perfect pair of vintage boots just in time for her class reunion this summer.

SOLADO CONTAINER UNLOADING SALE WITH THE CHEEKY MARE

Unloading was at Janelle's...a darling shop a few miles from Salado.  What a green thumb!  I managed to find a wonderful, heavy iron fireplace screen that Janelle had, as well as two fun storage pieces from Tammy's good stuff from England.  Can't wait to see what she brings to Red Barn next week.  We are taking the motorhome over to Giddings for a week so we can shop leisurely.
